Hi, I’m Kathy—welcome to my colorful world.
I’ve been painting full-time since 2014, working primarily in acrylics and watercolor batik. My art is inspired by the beauty of animals, nature, and what I like to call “magical moments”—those small, meaningful glimpses of joy we experience every day. Glimmers!
After 23 years in the military and 35 years in sales and sales management, I began this artistic journey in retirement with a deep desire to learn, grow, and create. I’ve been fortunate to study with talented artists along the way, continually evolving my style and voice.
Having lived in the Florida Keys, I draw endless inspiration from coastal life, vibrant wildlife, and the natural world around me.
Today, my work is featured in multiple galleries across Florida, as well as here online. Many originals are also available as prints, so if you see something you love, feel free to reach out.
And a little secret… my current favorite medium is watercolor batik—though I’ll always have a soft spot for acrylics.

My work is currently featured in galleries throughout Florida, including Key West, Islamorada, Inverness, Crystal River, and beyond.
